Swine Flu- how to prevent it from spreading

Swine flu cases have been reported across India recently. It had earlier managed to give us all a tough time. Now it is striking again. The problem with swine flu is that its symptoms are very much similar to common cough and cold. So, people realize that they have swine flu too late and by then they might have transmitted it to scores of people. This virus is highly notorious for its ‘speed’ of spreading .
Take notice of the following tips to ensure that you get to know if you have contracted it and to stop it from spreading further.
If you have any of the following symptoms, then go to a doctor: high fever, sore throat, continuous coughing and sneezing, trouble in breathing. It may or may-not be swine flu. But it is always better to consult a doctor rather than opting for self-medication.
When you are coughing/sneezing, always remember to cover your mouth and nose with handkerchief.
Remember to wash your hands thoroughly before and/or after touching your mouth, nose, eye with your hands using a good soap.
Stay away from public places and crowded places if you have persistent coughing and sneezing.
