Future careers of IPL spot-fixers Sreesanth, Chavan and Chandila
Cricketers S Sreesanth, Ankeet Chavan and Ajit Chandila have been arrested for their involvement in match fixing (spot fixing) in IPL 2013. The tainted trio of Rajasthan Royals will get a life ban from BCCI for sure. Now that their cricketing careers are almost over, let us take a look at some careers that they can take up later on in their lives.
After doing this dirty work, they can’t excel in anything related to playing/coaching cricket. They will also be banned from all forms of cricket. So what could their future career be like?
Please note that this is a humor article.
One of the bookies caught during the raid was Amit Singh. Don’t you remember this chap? He played for Rajasthan Royals last season before he was released by the franchise. So, instead of trying to work hard and play cricket for IPL teams again, he took to match fixing. So, there has to be something cool in this ‘profession’ of match fixing, isn’t it? Pension plans and perks maybe involved! Just joking there.
Anyways, the tainted trio of Sreesanth, Ankeet Chavan and Ajit Chandila can become bookies. Come on, they are quite experienced with the whole setup. They know how to recruit players, fix a price, bet etc. Further, you don’t need a degree to become a bookie, nor you need a licence.
As one of the newspaper mentioned, it won’t be a surprise if one of them appears in a reality show. They sure will add spice and that ‘entertainment’ factor to the show. Sreesanth is a good dancer too, so why not a dance reality show? I hope they don’t ‘fix’ those reality shows too.
Come on, the whole goddamn WWE is scripted and staged! And these fellows- Sreesanth, Chavan and Chandila are good athletes, otherwise they wouldn’t be playing in IPL (and fixing matches!). So, WWE is a good deal for them. The events are scripted and executed perfectly and these guys will just feel at home there!
After the ‘fixing’ gang got busted, these cricketers have been ousted by BCCI and other cricketing organizations. People of the country are also pissed off at them. So, who you think will welcome them? Underworld, maybe. Yes, these match fixing deals are orchestrated by underground king pins (at least some newspapers say so). So I think they will be more than glad to welcome these men aboard.
There is a good possibility that these guys will act in a bollywood flick about IPL, matchfixing and the Mafiosi! A thorough entertainer!
Note: This is a humor post. Please don’t take it up seriously. All these things came up on the pervert mind of the author. Yes, we all (billions of people) are pissed off at Sreesanth, Ankeet Chavan and Ajit Chandila. They betrayed cricket, IPL and other greats who have played the game, by involving in match fixing (spot fixing). BCCI, ICC and other boards must take appropriate steps to eradicate this evil called match fixing.
