It is a 4 years long Undergraduate Level program. The 4 years’ duration is divided into 8 semesters, with each semester lasting a period of 6 months. During each semester, a student will have to face separate sets of theoretical subjects as well as practical sessions.

 

B.F.Sc. course focuses on the fishing sector. It focuses on various areas of the fishing sector. For example, it uses Biology and Physical Science concepts to study fish, their ecosystem, their food habits, diseases occurring in them and breeding fish etc. Also, scientific concepts are used in stages like catching, processing, packing fish and fish products, preserving them and later transporting them to other places.
